Absolutely brilliant isn't it? That is all.

Although the choice of Ol' Man River is slightly dodgy unfortunately.

I think Ernie Wise said he could never fully enjoy watching it because he knew he'd screwed up the timing on the egg whisk at the beginning.

Certainly is.
In fact it's so good that Brian Logan gave it 3 stars.

And he didn't mention the fucked up asymmetrical grapefruit chopping?

Shit Good Nose

I have the whole lot on DVD so it's not an issue, but I do wish whenever it's shown on TV they show the whole sketch - the opening minute or so is not only also brilliant, but also creates another joke (that the dance routine goes so perfectly) which is completely lost in the intro-less version.

I think I've only seen the sketch in its entirety on TV once or twice in over 30 years of being a fan, and one of those was probably just a repeat of that particular episode.

It's all quite sloppy, which of course is fine.

It was a big inspiration for Edgar Wright on Baby Driver apparently.

That's only your opinion!

Yeah, the egg whisking seems to be one of the least sloppy parts if anything.
