I was listening to a Doors concert, kinda on random, and that Jim Morrison is a funny guy. I wish I wrote it down so I could leave a link, but I'm sure if you listen enough, you'll find it funny.

Thats probably the definitive answer actually. What a joy he was to listen to.

My own suggestion would be Ryan Jarman of The Cribs.

gatchamandave

Sir Roger Moore, keeping the British end up.

samadriel

Chris Isaak's a super funny guy.

Gulftastic

Bruno Kirby in 'Good Morning Vietnam'. Much funnier than Robin Williams was in that flick.

The Lurker

Brundle-Fly

Jeff Goldblum
Sarah Michelle-Gellar
Louie Theroux
Terry Wogan
Van Dyke Parks
Tara Palmer-Tompkinson
Luke Haines
Scarlett Moffat

Captain Crunch

Not sure, but there's no way it's Jim Morrison.

Aussie TV presenter Sam Pang is often way funnier than the other contestants, almost always comedians, on "Have You Been Paying Attention?"

Actually Karl Pilkington is not a bad answer to this question, tbh.

Which reminds me, Tom Waits is a hoot. His stage patter and talk show appearances are essentially stand-up bits.

Richard Osman ... surely

Only on Pointless.

Wiki also lists him as comedian on his wiki page so I guess he counts as a comedian anyway.

He composed my favourite tweet ever, which read simply "Rag And Bone Man sounds like Jimmy Nail".

This is my second:

Does Paul O'Grady count? I don't consider him a "comedian" but he always makes me smile on TV and on the radio. I find Sara Cox funny too. And The Rock. And Tom Waits.

cacciaguida

Ally McCoist is pure banter personified

Pang started as a radio presenter and has never done stand-up per se but I'd argue he does enough hosting and writing these days to be classed as a comedian.
