Broken Windows. Locks of Love part III

I love it all but the section from 4.55 onwards is quite possibly my favourite piece of music ever.

I probably would have said the exact same bit. Out of context it is great, but it arrives in a way that feels earned.

I love all of the martial space rock adventure of the second part of Motherfucker=Redeemer. Would have been nice if they'd gone that way instead of burning out.

I remember Mladic when they played it in 2003, then called Albanian, the recording does it justice but not quite as much as that pomp-era live band. Felt like the skin was flaking off my face.

I'll pick the the second part of the crescendo of 'Moya'. The re-establishment of the ascending scale after the furious double snare battering is amazing but the melody that comes out of it is incredible. First played at 8.44 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vRrGCVlMHk

The guitar harmony bit at 5:33 in Behemoth/Piss Crowns:

The climax of Blaise Bailey.

thugler

Sleep, the bit with the screwdrivered guitars and then the drum beat comes in... Haven't listen to gybe for years But that bit always killed me

Piss Crowns is the best new song since the comeback for sure. Think the second half of that one is incredible.

In fact only the most recent record didn't grab me. They're unfashionable now but I think history might treat them well.

I liked the bit where the fella looks in the coin bit of his wallet and its filled with blood

Spiteface

So many, but I think "Levez vos Skinny Fists Comme Antennas to Heaven" (i.e. the first 6 minutes of "Storm") is one of the greatest openings to an album, ever:

NJ Uncut

That bit after "Baby-O" that samples french speaking canuck kiddies playing with Glock "Mon ami, a passion, a passion, fa la la, la la la la"

Beauty fucking full, does somethin to me, synaesthesia white and purple mmmm fuck almost tempted to say it's "lush" like middle class whiteys say

Good but 9 minutes or so with the quieter drum bit outro is the other definitive best IMO

All of BBF3 is great, actually. The little dynamic/chord changes are incredibly sympathetic to his tone of voice. I love how riled he gets and then calmly states 'And I left it at that'.

I walked up to the god damn judge and I hand him my 25 dollars and I says "Here's my money, now I am leaving." And I left it at that

...

And the judge says "Yeah, you have a point," He goes "You don't need to get loud," I said "Don't get loud?" I says "I've got every right to get loud." I says "You can't do a god damn thing about it, because I'm expressing myself in your court, and there is nothing you can do about it. You think you're god because you have a robe and you can put people up the goddamn river for 20 years? Well you're not." And I left it at that

That's my fave bit.
