I only ever hear about these apparently extremely popular YouTube "stars" after they do something ghastly and people start worrying about all the millions of young people who watch them constantly.

Also, I am not wholly sure why anyone wants to watch someone playing some computer game even if that person isn't a horrible racist. My knowledge of these games, aside from the puzzle games I can get for free on my Kindle, stops at around 1993.
