I may be up for something along these lines also. But why a weekday? Surely if we're playing pool rather than snooker we can just..go to a pub?

Also, not sure how easy it will be to bang out all those fizzing witty remarks while lining up a long distance red, so maybe after I've won we can sit down for a bit and talk.

It would be nice to at least attempt to play snooker before slinking off to the pool tables when we realise how shite we are. Also 3/4 size tables can be fun as a sort of halfway house - most clubs have one or two of those knocking about.
