That is dodgy as fuck. It is a small thing in terms of what it shows but massive in terms of what it implies the BBC's thought processes are. Something like "that makes Boris look bad. Better find some better footage"

I particularly like the large Jimmy Hill picture on that Twitter convo.

Hang on, Johnson was weaving about and put the wreath upside down by the cenotaph yesterday, so the BBC used footage from 2016 instead?

FFS.

Sounds like Brexit Party are just going to target Labour seats, going off the first bit of NF's press conference.

EDIT: Ooh. maybe not. He sounds like he's doing an Alan Sugar ramble prior to naming which candidate he's going to evict.

Cursus

Yeah. That's exactly what he's doing. Cunt.

holyzombiejesus

Bet he just goes after Labour.

Dr Rock

Not standing against in any Tory marginals. Fuck.

That should be it, can't get Twitter on work PC so c&ping from Google.

What kind of "production error" can they possibly pretend this is.  This should now become a bigger story on account of it being an obvious cover-up of a mistake they would have highlighted if it had been Corbyn making it.

holyzombiejesus

Could still help us though. Would it split the pro-leave vote in places like Stoke? I wasn't counting on the BXP vote helping us in current tory marginals. Nothing to see really.

I think that's us fucked. Hung parliament at best

IT WAS FARAGE THAT WON IT FOR TORIES

BYE BYE CORBYN

GAME OVER

littlefoot

That's a very savvy move by Farage, but I think it'll hurt the Lib Dems more than Labour. He'll still split the leave vote wherever TBP stands.

Big Mclargehuge

as a resident of stoke I can say safely if the brexit party ran here. it would probably win or come a close 2nd...if they don't run it becomes a very narrow race (2k votes or less if my last letter from the labour party is to be believed) between the tories and labour...and the tories may just squeak it...

in short this decision means everythings fucking fucked mate. might as well start preparing for the "Threads"-verse right now...

BlodwynPig

I'm voting for Conservative now. Will delay my gulagisation for a few weeks when they check voting history.

Yeah but Labour needs the Leave vote wherever it can get it - that's the point.

Why would it hurt the Lib Dems?

Paul Calf

Remember that not all Leavers are no-deal headbangers.

But yeah. Pact between the Nazi and the fascist. Fucked.

idunnosomename

Someone convinced Farage that keeping the tories in is more important than his "clean break Brexit" guff

:) We need more posters of this quality.

Jerzy Bondov

TBP can still scupper the Tories in seats they are trying to win from Labour, and Labour can concentrate their fire on Lib Dems and Tories where TBP aren't standing. Could be worse.

Eh? Is this not them specifically not running in seats where it's labour/tory races?

No, they won't stand in the 317 seats that the tories won at the last election. They'll still (presumably) be standing in Labour strongholds that the tories were hoping to take on the back of disenfranchised leavers.

Utter fuck bomb. Fucked.

Oh, I misunderstood.

That's not as bad as I'd thought.

Jerzy Bondov

They're helping Tories hold onto their seats, but not helping them gain new ones.
