Is the 2012 DVD of Father Ted any better than the 2002 one?

I know the 2012 has extras, but is there any improvement in the picture quality?

I know that when Fawlty Towers and Blackadder were cleaned up, this was part of how the BBC promoted the reissued DVDs. I don't think there's any difference with the 2012 Teds, but the extras are worth it. Just avoid those Linehan commentaries. It's depressing to listen to him pick apart his perfect creation. After a while Arthur starts contradicting him though, which is nice.
