Has anyone else seen this? I caught it on Thursday and I think I enjoyed it.

It's definitely well done, good visuals. I sometimes struggled to know what was going on, I was shattered and full of cold, mind. Is it supposed to be set now or is it in a slight dystopian thing? Definitely a bit of a mood piece.

I really struggle to get past the title and it being by what sounds like a pretty privileged white dude (his dad was the founder of Salon).

Assume it's set now, SF is a whole other level of gentrification and probably looks like a future dystopia a lot of the time

Yeah I couldn't work it out, so I guess it's done well. It starts with them walking past city workers picking up stuff from the shoreline in hazmat suits while black people pushed to the outskirts go about their lives.

There's definitely some surrealism, at one point there's a 3-eyed fish like blinky out of the simpsons.
