First time on that scary dark web, to buy something COMPLETELY LEGAL I may add.. So I got me some bitcoins and ordered what I want from the vendor, who uses Ecrow as payment method. And 24 hours later the sale is still in ''waiting orders.' I'm just waiting for the vendor to see the sale and confirm right? Is 24 hours a reasonable time? Vendor's reviews say they are speedy. But maybe they are poorly or something. Or maybe I missed out something I'm supposed to do because I don't know exactly what I'm doing. And advice? And be sure to say 'someone I know' instead of 'I' if you want to pretend it wasn't you that was doing stuff in the DarkPlace.

I think those sorts of video are essentially "made to order", so you could be waiting a few days. It's term time after all.

The point of escrow is to sit in the middle

Waiting orders means the vendor's done nowt, probably not even seen it. 24 hours isn't bad, is there a way to see when they were last online?

My advice is chill out as it's an escrow order, give it another day.

Vendor's recommendations were loads up until August, then they stop. Hasn't responded to messages. Seems like they haven't traded for months.

Ouch. I got caught like that when I first started. I checked the guys feedback, and from all the people calling him a cunt, looked at their orders and worked out he exited with just under $100,000.

I wouldn't worry about that, they probably just got caught by the police who are now going through all the orders to follow up on any leads.
