When people talk about weights in Ally McBeal and they furiously bellow "SIX POUNDS THREE OUNCES; WHAT'S THAT IN ENGLISH" what are they really asking?  My cousin's an optometrist and reckons it's a euphemism for having a glass eye inserted down your bellend at six minutes past midnight.  Is he right?  And did it hurt?
