Political leaflets: what have you had so far?

I was curious as to who's campaigning the most heavily in everyone's area. Have you had many yet? I live in Leith (north-east Edinburgh) and I've had three Labour leaflets and one Lib Dem leaflet so far. Nothing from the other parties. It seems like Labour are keen to recoup some votes around here.

How about you?

madhair60

shitloads of Lib Dem, one Labour, binned the lot because politics can get fucked

Pink Gregory

Green Party in Bristol West.  Wasn't aware that Molly Scott-Cato wasn't running but apparently so.  Had Lib Dem stuff in the past but nowt yet.

Me and the old lady are both Labour members, so I don't know if we get leafletted or not.

The Culture Bunker

None so far where I live (Manchester Withington), which I am a little surprised by as I was expected the Lib Dems to make a real effort. Labour's majority in 2017 was pretty huge, but it was Lib Dem for a decade prior to 2015 and they won a councillor in the recent local elections.

greencalx

We've had a LD leaflet, maybe an SNP (can't quite remember), an Ian Murray leaflet, but no Labour leaflet. (Seriously, Murray's leaflet doesn't mention the L word once. Maybe he did a deal with Mike Gapes).

jobotic

Nothing from no one.

I have got a big Vote Labour poster up though.

king_tubby

Labour were first. Then we had a Pizza Hutt flyer with Green and Alliance for Green Socialism leaflets in.

Dr Trouser

5 Lib Dem ones and a Tory one (bless him). No SNP or Labour or anything else.

Swinson once again lying about her campaign spending no doubt

kittens

one green in bristol west. nothing else. i have 2 (two!) labour posters up in my front window. i like to imagine the man who lives above me hates labour and it drives him crazy, but i have never spoken with him so he may like it which would be disappointing.

greenman

Not had one delivered yet but I must have folded about 400 of them yesterday to be sent out, Labour generally are by far the most visable here in Stroud so far on the streets and with signs/posters, not seen anything of the Tories and the seat was just a few hundred votes in it last time.

steveh

Living in a constituency where the Labour MP got around 80% of the vote last time none of the other parties really bothers. This time just had one leaflet from the Christian People's Alliance where they spelled the name of the place wrong. European Election I think there was one LibDem leaflet and nothing at all from anyone else.

Blue Jam

One SNP leaflet, about three from the Lib Dems, and one visit from the Lib Dems when they were out knocking on doors.

holyzombiejesus

Just before the election was officially called, I got a letter on thick House of Commons paper from our tory MP. Presume he sent one to every household in the constituency, asking if there was anything we needed help with. Apart from that, we've had zip. We usually get a couple of National Front leaflets but their candidate has stood down. Got a few hundred Labour leaflets coming tonight but they're for me to deliver.

Just a big Tory newsletter thing. "Conor for Bournemouth, Boris for Britain" screamed the headline. Conor for Grave, Boris for Sea, thanks.

Only the Green Party in Leeds Central - I've contacted my local Labour branch twice to volunteer for leafletting my local area (I'm a party member who can't get to many meetings thanks to shift-work), but I haven't heard anything back after a fortnight.  Shoddy, as they used to say on the Fall Online Forum.

Butchers Blind

No leaflets yet but have received my poll card which is far more important, even though you don't need it at the polling station.

SpiderChrist

Nothing but LibDem horseshit so far. Might get something from Labour now the manifesto is out. Complacent smug evil lying Tory cunts probably won't bother.

JesusAndYourBush

Just Labour, a pre-printed letter from my local MP with information about applying for a postal vote, and a form to fill in if I want to do that.

Leading up to the last election I received leaftets from everyone except the Tories.

DrGreggles

2 x Labour
1 x Tory
8 (EIGHT) x LD

Got one of the Labour ones in the window, binned the rest.

chveik

in France we have all the leaflets at the same time through the post. obviously it's not the same political system but it seems much more convenient to me.

The Lib Dems are really going for it here (Blackford's seat - Ross, Skye & Lochaber). It seems I get a pretend newspaper thing through from them every week. Other than that, I've had one bit from some wallopers called 'The Scottish Family Party' and that's it.

olliebean

One from Labour, delivered personally by their canvasser. Probably one or two from the Tories - they go straight in the recycling and never thought about again, so I honestly can't remember if there've been any. Loads from the Lib-Dems, including Swinson quotes misattributed to the media outlets who had quoted her, a questionnaire asking whether I want a Conservative or a Lib-Dem MP with no Labour option, and a dodgy graph on the front of a fake local newspaper. This is one of their main target seats, which means they're probably going to facilitate a Tory hold.

Jasha

Couple of weeks ago had a shitty Brexit leaflet designed to look like a Royal Mail we tried to deliver your parcel card.

timebug

Had one so far from the local Labour Party. Might even have glanced at it before binning it, but as the bastards tried to knock their way through my front door whilst delivering it, I simply couldn't be arsed. As a general rule I never read any of them.
Lying, pie-in-the-sky tosspots, the lot of 'em!

Panbaams

Nothing so far.

We had a leaflet headed 'Brexit' with a few graphs on it, but on closer examination that turned out to be from a local estate agent.

Dr Trouser

Just had 2 more Swinson ones through the door. That makes it 7 now.

I haven't had any, but then my area (Smethwick/Birmingham border) has a large Eastern European population so I don't know if that makes a difference, if that means there's a lot of people who can't vote or aren't registered or whatever. It's also a firm Labour stronghold so maybe they don't feel they need to and the others just don't bother.

Bobtoo

We've had the usual flood of Lib Dem leaflets, including what must be the only accurate bar chart they have ever done, although they've left the other two off.

I think we've just had a couple from the SNP and I noticed a Conservative one today, they've decided to have a go at the bar charts too.

Had a couple of leaflets today from the Greens. Ironic, as you'd think they'd want to save paper.

thenoise

Nothing. 55% voted Tory last time and given the vulgar display of military fetishism on Poppy Day I can't imagine that changing. I'll go and vote labour, of course, but it doesn't make me feel like there is much point.
