Rewatching this film recently I noticed a few radio broadcasts dotted throughout with the news anchor sounding uncannily Chris Morris-like. A quick scout around google reveals fuck all, confirmation or denial. I’d be half-way convinced by voice alone but this was a Warp Films production, who Morris had quite an association with at the time, directing the first film they produced (
My Wrongs); the producer of
This Is England Mark Herbert going on to produce
Four Lions a few years later.
