Go tell it on the mountain by Henrietta and Merna - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg7uGL6Ku20 - . Good bassline, but the performance/timing is a bit lackluster.

Peter la Anguila - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS-82Nt0cg8 -  - The lankiest man on the planet visits a beach.

Three beat slide - Beach boogie- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1by16BbEjvQ  (a good contrast to the above video) - This is genuinely odd. Even seems to go out of time at parts. Is this even real? (a quick google reveals they've done more stuff, they're a family). Chevy Chase has let himself let go etc... Seriously though, more info needed please.

Jan Terri - Ave Maria - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX5xIRUcPyI - This is fucking wonderful. The whole video is nuts.

D4nny - Remember the times - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UqsdBUCWuI- Guy discovers auto-tune and somehow fails to make it sound even passable (kinda wanders into Lynchesque surrealism quite by accident). I think he recorded it on his phone? Forgets to include music in his song.

Lil' Markie - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTKPE3_8RdI- Almost certainly a serial killer. A genuinely disturbing man-child. I think he channels the ghost a paedophile.

Leoncie - I want your love - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRSovb3WxOU - Your Mum. Has the most water sounding bass/synth ever. Quite good in a weird way.

Sin Agog

Dunno why I feel the urge to pick on the Spanish, but consider it belated revenge for 1588.

I find the elemental naffness of old music videos kinda hypnotic, especially in this one by the duo Morena & Clara: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SosdezX2Ut8  Weird, intense looks on their faces as they barely pull off the ricketiest of dance routines, plus those great bubbly analog screensaver effects.  Love that song, too- it's like if a '70s Andalusian Daphne & Celeste somehow out-heavied everything by Black Sabbath.

And then the most low-effort thing ever by Jeanette's old group Pic-Nic.  The song's beautiful (that album by them is chilled breathy folk pop perfection), but the vid's just them walking to camera so slowly you wonder if they've all got fallen arches or something.  Really it's to disguise how tiny the studio was.  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HlEBBi6Xi8c

Thanks for these. I too have a special place in my heart for naff videos. That Morena Y Clara one is quite catchy. Really love it. The heavy dancing kinda makes it better.

The 70's eh?

D4nny - Remember the times

The name rang a bell so I looked him up and Christ!, He's still going. This one is why I recognised him (12m views!)

Filmed in my old hometown. Cross-thread fact fans - that hill he's on is right next to the site of the UFO abduction story from the GB thread. Great spot to skive school.

Posted this on here before it deserves another airing. 'Crazy Preacher Lady' displays some great spinny chair dancing to a quite incredible song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOWWP-rtAks
