Most enjoyable of the year for me by far was the Cricket thread but you really have to let it consume your every pore and just hope you come out the other side intact. Me, it changed me forever. Scorched soul but worth every moment. You were either there or you weren't. A white hot cauldron of hypersaturated humanity, exponential ecstasy and bottomless torture. Sport as substitute for genocide.

From a life experience perspective, this was probably the most significant event of the year for me, and one I still look back upon with fondness, with a heavy heart and a yearning to fire up the CRTs all over again in the new year:

It's called Interesting places on the planet. Basically about interesting places on the planet. Places on the planet you might find interesting.
I hope some of you might find my interesting places on the planet thread, not only interesting, but interesting in the sense that you're physically on a (possible) interesting place on the planet, whislt you're also (hopefully) reading a thread about interesting places on the planet.
