'I would love it if we beat them, love it'.

The day the old league died.

Dion Dublin's cock, Cantona, Collymore and Asprilla wanging them in despite having no obvious attributes that would suit this league. Mega long ball teams vs flair teams. Yeboah from the half way line. Isn't it. Wasn't it?

A post-halcyon dayz timeline

10 pints of Murphy's in Paddy McLeprechauns whilst watching Charlton versus Middlesbrough on the big screen.
Fuck The Pink, got the scores on me phone now
Just stuck a grand on Boreham Wood beating Chichester 2-0...C'MOOOOOOON
LADS weekend in Dubai to watch Millwall in pre-season training
FIFA e-WORLD CUP, C'MON KINGSPORTSYYYYYYYYY

Even the early attempts to commercialise the league now seem sort of quaint and cloth eared.

Leverkusen 4-3 Dortmund!

Emre Can with a beauty of a goal.

The Japanese Super Cup went to penalties.

Been keeping a closer eye on Ligue 1 more than any other football this year and decided to watch PSG L'OL (if I have a second team after Wrexham it is probably Lyon). They have been very hit and miss this year (and Memphis is out for the season) but PSG are murdering them here.

My all time fav footballer is fat Ronaldo and Mbappe is the closest we have to him. He has the pace and finishing ability of younger, skinny, PSV/Barca fat Ronaldo but the build , strength and brain of the latter Real Madrid/ World Cup 2002 version. It seems such a strange thing to say about a World Cup winner but I do think that his magnificence is passing many by.

Neymar has been excellent this season too. Maybe French league isn't the highest of standards of the elite leagues but it feels much more like the football I like to watch.

Just caught up with yesterday's Juve match:

"...and, in the week he celebrated his 35th birthday, it's another goal for the ageless Cristiano Ronaldo!"

PL-Rejects Milan are currently ruining the Zlatan Milan party. AC were 2-0 up at HT thanks to 1 Zlatan goal and 1 assist (which counts as a Zlatan goal) and are now 3-2 down.

I don't know what this means but can only assume it is bad news for corbyn

PSG went 3-0 and Lyon just scored two. Loads of chances. Cracking game.

Captain Z

PL-Rejects = Inter (Lukaku, Sanchez, Eriksen)
Zlatan Milan = AC Milan (Zlatan "Zlatan®" Ibrahimovic)

I think the "we" was meant to reference all football fans, not specific to PSG.

Was that another weird dig at me that I missed? Ha ha. I am getting a complex. Cheers Shoulders. :) I meant "we" as in the current generation of football fans who might have missed the best Ronaldo in his prime. I was just sharing the joy of a watching a very good footballer. Peace and love.

I hate Mbappe and hope he gets both his legs broken.

Brozovic with a fucking MINT strike today against Milan. Did Ibrahimovic invent football or is there some other reason the commentators were sucking him off?

chveik

MBappé is indeed very impressive but Di Maria was by far the best player tonight.

Zlatan is the first player to complete football. And having done so, he is now starting again.

They are a batshit side. More fun early on in the season when they lost a few games but so much talent on display but always close to self-destruct.

Olympique Lyonnais feminine have lost about 4 league games in 12 years.

Edit: 5 defeats in 14 seasons

QuoteThe £22m January signing of 21-year-old Norway midfielder Sander Berge showed the club's intention to keep pushing forward and this was the fifth time they had broken their transfer record in seven months.

He impressed with an elegant home debut against Bournemouth and the fans have an incredibly catchy chant for Berge, sung along to She's Electric by Oasis, which shows where the Blades' fans expectations are now: "He's Norwegian, next to Norwood and Fleck he's the reason, we'll be playing in Europe next season, his name is Sander Berge."

Hmmm
