Decent team to watch a few years back as their attack was so dynamic. At the minute stodgy as fuck and the only strategy is provoke a foul to win back possession. Only 4 managerial genious?

So, you fucked up a good player and fucked us in the process. *joking*

We fuck up good players all the time. Nothing personal!

He'd score another 20+ in League 2, no bother. He'll probably end up on 14 or 15 for us this season, which is decent for his first tryout at this level. But he's nowhere near a good enough finisher, or technically proficient enough in his hold-up play, to go any further.

It was exciting for about 2 minutes until I realised its Atletico Madrid, a cunt team even by spanish standards.

I still haven't forgiven that lot for their multiple assassination attempts on Jimmy Johnstone in 1974.

Anyone want to be annoyed? Have a read of the worst bit of football writing in history.

For my money there are four genuinely overrated players on that entire list - Alli, Pickford, Hudson-Odoi and Pukki. MAYBE at a push Maguire. But some of the choices are just insane. Jota, Doucoure, Ake - all class. Longstaff, Mousset, Iheanacho - not particularly rated in the first place. Ozil - probably underrated at this point.

Well, it worked as a transparently absurd piece of clickbait on two of us at least.

You don't know the half of it. Although there was a fine rugby tackle in this by a Celtic player. Harry Hood I think, although I was 8 at the time so could be wrong. Jinky and King Kenny are instantly recognisable of course so got the worst of it.

Watching Spurs-Leipzig and it has the feel of one of those classic Mourinho games where the opposition completely dominate and somehow don't score then Spurs somehow get a freak goal thanks to someone falling over and win.

Fuck yes, that was brutal.

As was the inter-continental cup Racing Club game in 67, Tommy Gemmell eventually lost it and started booting their players up in the air - he was good at that:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoCHaSnUrlE

As memorably recreated on Fantasy Football League, when auld Tommy managed to cripple both Baddiel and Skinner.

Quote from: Mr R Sterling
It’s something that you see all the time, but I’m a City player and I’m enjoying it at the moment, even if things haven’t gone quite planned in the league. We now have a massive opportunity in the Champions League.

Who wants to tell him?

VAR review possible red card, say no foul.
10 minutes later they change their mind and say it should be a red card.
Why not send him off when they changed their mind?

I find it weird to think that Jamie Carragher spat on a child, and is still employed by the same people.

That being shown to be a load of toss given recent results, ie Jota

PSG are the gift that keeps on giving. Another crazy awesome game tonight. My instinct is that I hate them as a club but they are the most entertaining team in football. Batshit.
