Fucking hell, look at him. With those clothes, that pose and a face like a Drunken Baker

purlieu

Ah yes, the "person who's just been rudely awoken from a drunken slumber" expression, a classic album cover face. Nice one Ian.

That can't be recent?  Never did finish Shadow of the Beast II mind.

Geoff Downes and Steve Howe had a fight with Carl Palmer and John Wetton in Tokyo?  Not sure whose fantasia that would be but I'd like to see it.  Is it up on YouTube?

TheMonk

Re the Ian Brown one.
Elton John gets around dressed like this too. Slightly larger size tracksuit mind you.

The last years Die Antwoord album, yes they're still going.

Holy shit, that's appalling. Meme-worthy.

holyzombiejesus

This is a ton better than shit like the Ian Brown album but I still think it's poor. A poorly rendered pastiche of a pastiche.

holyzombiejesus

Weird. Why have all that info on the front sleeve?

Thought this was a bit rubbish too.

Sacred Bones house style, most of their albums have it. I quite like it, it reminds me of pre-'67 album covers.

Norton Canes

I love the Sacred Bones covers house style. Is that such an awful photo?

Another vote for the Sacred Bones house style.

It's not even the best album with Fiddlers Ferry on the cover

Probably...

First track is up for streaming

There really is an endless supply of music that sounds just like this, isn't there? I mean I know you could say that about anything but even so...

What's going on in that? Why the tie? Why the swan? It's endless nonsense.

After rectifying the administrative cock-up, the world's oldest inmate of a Young Offenders Institute was released. His aged aunt then took him to a nearby botanical garden. He threw a brick at some ducklings.

kalowski

The new Lorde album. I don't know if it was her intent, but I feel like a voyeur just looking at it.

On one hand, this is a really nasty shitty sleeve. On the other, it fits the album perfectly.

These apocalyptic covers remind me of these, which is also a terrible cover.  Though not as terrible as the disappointment I felt upon hearing the actual record.
