New Netflix show: Messiah

New Netflix show for 2020. Following various character stories but mostly focused on Al Masih, the so called 'messiah', starting from a siege in Syria and where, as a street preacher type, he predicts God intervening to protect the city from the ongoing strikes from rebel forces. Things progress in all sorts of ways from there in some interesting directions.

Just binged this on a rare lazy Sunday, that I had myself yesterday. Overall I liked it and found it on the whole pretty original, as tv shows go. Definite strong influences from the likes of Homeland though and various other current tv shows but just when I thought I had sussed where story was going I would get a curveball response. Not a groundbreaker of tv history though.
Anyway the dust is still settling a bit so will revisit it as obv alcohol as involved in my viewing.
