Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, away..
Oh can't you see you belong to me
How my poor heart aches with every step you take ...

Needless to say, the beast was stunned.
Whip-crack went his whoopy tail,
And the beast was done.
He asked us: "(snort) Be you angels?"
And we said, "Nay. We are but men."
Rock!
Ahhh, ahhh, ahhh-ah-ah,
Ohhh, whoah, ah-whoah-oh!
I THINK THAT SOMEONE IS TRYING TO KILL ME
INFECTING MY BLOOD AND DESTROYING MY MIIIND

I’ve just wasted some considerable time trying to sing the entire lyrics over a karaoke track of Wired For Sound. Much of it fits. And vice versa.
Yeah! I actually found I could sing most of Streets of Philadelphia over Wired For Sound yesterday!

The theme to My Name Is Nobody (or Nighty Night, if you prefer) becomes I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith, without fail. No idea why, the melodies aren't remotely similar.

And if the theme to Rosemary's Baby pops into my head, I just know it will soon become the Emmerdale theme.

God! About 15 years ago, or so, I used to be on Computer Music / Future Music's forum and someone shared an acapella of Peache's Fuck The Pain Away, urging the members of the forum to have a go at remixing it and someone did that exact thing: Took the vocal and mixed it in with the Fraggle Rock theme tune!!

Aaaaah good times!

Misfits

There's some kinda love
And there's some kinda hate
The maggots in the eye of love
Won't copulate
I've got a good idea
just you keep me near
I'll be so good for
I can be so good for you
love you like you want me to

Are teenage dreams so hard to beat?
Everytime she walks down the street
Another girl in the neighbourhood
Wish she was mine, she looks so good
I've got a good idea
just you keep me near
I'll be so good for
I can be so good for you
love you like you want me to

You didn't stand by me,
No, not at all,
You didn't stand by me,

God knows why the old Oasis B-side "Underneath The Sky" popped into my head recently, but once it was there...

All he needs is his life in a suitcase
It belongs to a friend of a friend's
And as we drink to ourselves
We'll amuse ourselves
Gotta have some hot stuff
Gotta have some love tonight

Awww I need hot stuff
Oooh I want some hot stuff
I need hot stuff

Tony Christie's Is This The Way To Amarillo becomes Avenues and Alleyways, so much so that I think the former was the actual TV theme.

Although it's the same singer, the writers are different, but I suppose that Mitch Murray could have been copying what Neil Sedaka did with Amarillo

I remember when I started working at err, top secret place (I'm not even kidding), U2's 'Beautiful Day' was always on the Radio, and Mark and Lard used to fade it out and sing it and after the lyric 'Touch me..' they launch into 'The Sun Always Shines, On TV'. it's almost the same song!

And I can't listen to it. Not because of the song but because U2 get on my tits now.

Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn
Remember how she said that we would meet again
Some sunny day
Vera
Vera
What has become of you
Does anybody else in here feel the way I do
About you now
And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding

All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm...

You were always on my mind,
you were always on my mind.

The Only One I Know By The Charlatans often mixes with Hey Dude by Kulashaker.

That's probably because they're both based on Hush, by Deep Purple.
