We've all been there though, right? We've all panicked and told a bit fat lie haven't we?

I have a long scar across my back and have no idea where it came from. When my ex girlfriend asked me about it I said a scolding hot radiator fell on my back as I was escaping a burning building. No idea where that came from. She tried to probe further so I said "I don't want to talk about it" and sat quietly looking haunted. She never asked again.
