Wash your dog

I used to think I was allergic to dogs. Later, I realised I was only agitated by dirty dogs.

I asked a friend, 'How often do you clean your dog? In a shower or bath or whatever.'

'I dunno. Every couple of months.'

'You should wash him every couple of weeks,' I said. 'No wonder I'm feeling itchy in here.'

'Well I've never had any problem with it.'

'Because you live with it every day, you're adjusted. But I'm having a bad reaction.'

He didn't want to listen. He thought I was making a fuss about nothing. He also thinks it's acceptable to leave dog stools on the pavement because, in his words, 'Sometimes you just can't be bothered.' Well, I am bothered and it's not acceptable. Wash that dog and pick up after it, you downright degenerates.
