I'm enjoying Luke Haines on the radio

He has a weekly 2 hour show on Tuesday afternoons on Boogaloo Radio, it's put up on mixcloud after broadcast https://www.mixcloud.com/BoogalooRadio/playlists/righteous-in-the-afterboob/

He plays a good range of stuff - punk, Nico, Hawkwind, random cheesy hits, reggae, Betty Davis, The Fall, The Jam, Popol vuh, T Rex, Velvets etc all sorts, seems to have good depth of knowledge - constantly takes the piss out of received rock critic wisdom, Mojo /the rock canon/ bbc6music/ being a DJ / himself

if you can get past the fact that he laboriously always takes the contrary stance, e.g. the clash are no longer trendy, now I will like the clash again -band the fact that he sings along to the songs sometimes (which I find hilarious for some reason) then it might be up your street

anybody else checking him out?

I like this and him - it's really fun.

Do people listen to all these zillions of internet radio things?
There seem to be so many, then again there are a lot of hours to fill in days at work...
