Speaking of Richard Wilson, can we do people who shouldn't be Scottish? Andrew Neil and Donovan "Leitch" are my starters. And the entire Lib Dem party, it seems. Worse than Canadians, tbh.

Gordon Ramsay doesn't seem right either.

Mark Webber (ex F1 driver).

He's not gay (as far as I know) but imagine if he was. Doesn't sit right, does it?

To me, he epitomises heterosexuality.

Remember that gay bloke who had his nob injected on holiday and it puffed up really big and wouldn't go back small again? That would have been a good episode of One Foot in the Grave.

Danny Polaris. Turns out he's actually Welsh, which completely ruins the joke I had planned about Germans being so efficient he was given his porn name at birth. Absolutely gutted to be honest Alan

Kelvin

Ironically, there's an episode of OFITG that deals with this exact thing - the one where Victor hears that Patrick has a gay brother, then sees Patrick behaving in a very "camp" way, so hands him a ton on gay porn. The actual brother isn't camp, of course.

Had the pleasure of meeting homophobia at a charity do once. It was surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny.

That would imply homophobia was dead...

Wish it was more usual, tbh. Sadly I guess that's the way the genetic cookie crumbles.

edit: If you add two letters to that paragraph it looks really homophobic. I hope nobody misreads it.

*snigger*

I have seen a few episodes of Kitchen Nightmares US where Yanks refer to him as "English" and he doesn't look remotely offended. Fuck's sake Gordo.

Sad news. Richard Wilson has killed himself because of this thread. It made him have too many body image issues and now he's strived too hard for unrealistic beauty standards and fucking died. R.I.P.
im incredulous to be honest

David Walliams' entire public persona seems to  be acting as a camp, predatory, homosexual man. And yet, apparently, not gay: should I be offended?

By the camp?  No.

By the predatory?  Yes.  Or at least concerned.

By the homosexual?  No.

A very small number of gay people sometimes vote for policies that hurt gay people. For example, C**** R******, or Kenny Everett supporting Thatcher in 1983.

Spelling his name 'Walliams' instead of the proper 'Williams' is a fairly strong indication of his deceitfulness and untrustworthiness, both as an entertainer and a person. What a hateful monster.

1991. He then went to Channel 5 to present Fifth Gear with Jeremy Needle.

Assuming your housemate was gay, you managed to successfully identify two out of three lesbians, so your gaydar seems pretty sound to me.

I don't think gaydars are supposed to pinpoint who is going out with who, unless they've recently released a Mark II Gaydar (in which case, I know what to put on my Amazon wishlist).

I was unaware that housemate is gay, but to be fair she was married to a bloke at the time. Wrongly identified single colleague as a lesbian. So 1/3 success rate. Not great.

Just scroll past my name when you see what posts I've put in, safe in the knowledge of what a great fucking person you are with what pretty sound non- homophobic credentials you have, despite wilfully listening to the homophobic, sexist, Zappa cribbing shit the likes of which the marginally more musically talented  than fucking Zappa types fucking Ween came out with, if you can't be fucked to do that research for yourself without needing to announce it on this very thread in a " see how much above this shit I am " styleee.HTH.

Just to make things clear ; Ween are The Bloodhound Gang with a little bit more musical ability, but exactly the same  overgrown Frat Boy attitude. Don't dare to assume you can judge me, as long as you wilfully listen to shit like that.

I've always thought his accent sounded Scottish in a middle class kind of way, not broad Glaswegian  or owt like that. Other folk on 'ere think that, Shirley?

Richard Wilson has a kind of old-fashioned posh west of Scotland accent of a type which was more common in more snobbish times - probably altered a bit further by spending a lot of time in England and mingling with ac-tors. A few English-style vowel sounds and softened consonants but basically a Scots accent.

Gordon Ramsay, on the other hand, just speaks with an English accent, having apparently moved south at the age of 5.
