I once lived near a Chinese restaurant that had a sign up in the window for several years saying "Fine Dinning". I haven't been past there for a while, but I hope the sign is still there.

Stupid fucking cunts.

I quite fancy something basic like egg and chips. Nothing wrong with egg and chips.

Don't have a fryer though and oven chips would just make the experience disappointing.

Did anybody else have a chippy that used the "Fish and chips - the healthiest meal for all the family!" chip paper that would become translucent from oil?

It's the tiny 'generic English salad' (lettuce tomato cucumber large chunk of raw onion, no dressing) that has had the hot meat dumped on top of it that really screams 'British chain family pub'

Speak for yourself, some of us can cook.  And UK processed food is much better quality than most other countries, including Japan.

Japanese junk food is amazing.

We do the best ready meals though.
