I'm delighted the rise in ethical consciousness stresses out farmers. I hope they're sweating in their beds worrying about their mortgages and the future of their industry as a whole. Good.

Erm, yeah? Maybe some more of them will stick shotguns in their mouths, given the high suicide rate the profession has? Arsehole.

I would have sympathy if this was the third-world, but it isn't: no one has to slaughter animals for the purposes of recreational meat-eating. It's a lifestyle choice.

Fambo Number Mive

What about animals that only eat meat and are kept as pets?

Sony Walkman Prophecies

I don't understand the concept of pets. I think most people who 'own' animals are suffering from some kind of mental illness.

Yeah its like carers, fucking weirdos.

I'm just a vegetarian (hurry up and replace cheese, you boffins) but I think more planning in the food world would certainly help. The Green New Deal can be part of that (I think it was called One Million Climate Jobs over here, when various socialist / environmental groups did a pamphlet).

I thought I'd read somewhere that the number of animals killed for meat was going down, as vegan arguments about health were starting to take a toll even among people who still ate meat, but I can't find any evidence for it now (in fact, the opposite).

Stuff you grow in your back garden always tastes better. Maybe we need to be like in places where everybody keeps a pig or a few chickens and feeds it scraps.

Yes I'd love to have a pig living in the bath of my one-bedroom flat.

I bet you would, imitationleather, you dirty old bollocks. I bet you fucking would.

Applewood vegan smoky cheddar is quite nice.

Or just don't eat cheese.

Farmers are just angry because they wish that The Joker had a painted-over moustache like Cesar Romero.
