Really digging this. I saw Prophet open for Peanut Butter Wolf a couple of years ago looking at the dates it was probably for the album before this. At the time I thought it was some aging guy that looked a lot like Rick James doing soft synthy ballads. It was alright but it wasn't taking me.

Anyhow I saw he had another album out and gave it a bash and this one really is doing things for me. I really like Be the one for you especially.

I ended up on that song about a year ago, can't think how I got there and it's annoying me.

For me it was looking up who this soulful 50+ man was and then getting told his last release was in 1984.
