Inspector Norse

Half-century for Hendricks off just 23 balls, fine effort.

Shoulders?-Stomach!

Yeah, Hendricks taken apart here.

Hmm.. Maybe more like 60/40 to SA now. Massive swing to SA if there's a wicket seeing as England only have all or nothing bowling all-rounders left after Morgan.

Inspector Norse

On paper England to win I reckon, but this is a) the ludicrous headless chicken matchstick house that is any England batting line-up and b) the ludicrous anything-goes world of T20, soh look there goes Morgan as I write.

Shoulders?-Stomach!

Ngidi knows what he's doing at least. Morgan gone.

21 from 15 balls though. England's to fuck up.

Shoulders?-Stomach!

And fuck up they do not.

Hendricks over probably the difference there. Bye mate.

poo

Rename T20 to Budweiser moron bat and ball fart

Good finish building in Canberra  - Aus 234/6 needing 69 off 48. Maxwell just put a switch hit fully 100 metres over square leg - extraordinary stuff.

Williamson got 251 last night. Was staying up following on cricbuzz hoping he'd get 300.

How come the NZ tests aren't being shown on Sky in the UK any more?

Harry Badger

Not sure but they are live on Youtube courtesy of the New Zealand cricket board https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awZT1JrxI_Y

Massive noncery in the West Indies batting lineup. It's not impossible that they could lose by an innings to Williamson alone here.

Gambrinus

That's brilliant, didn't even think to check Youtube (am an OLD).

Oh good, I've just turned it on and it's started pissing down.

NZ 519/7 dec
WI 138 all out
89/6 following on

At which point out strides Alzarri Joseph, test batting average 7.94, and puts on a century partnership with Blackwood.

Shoulders?-Stomach!

Beginning to think they should give touring sides automatic choice of whether to bat or field for the first game of a series.

Inspector Norse

Cricket SA once again failing to organise a piss-up in a brewery it seems.

Inspector Norse

England name their test squad for Sri Lanka with Archer rested, Pope injured, Burns staying home for the birth of his child and Stokes rested presumably on compassionate grounds.
Dan Lawrence comes in alongside two more intriguing and promising young players: anyone know if these guys "Bairstow" and "Moeen" look to have what it takes at test level?

Shoulders?-Stomach!

What are they doing? 4 specialist batsmen in the entire squad, one of whom hasn't played a test.

3 wicket keepers and a 4th wicket keeper on standby.

4 medium fast bowlers in the squad.. In Sri Lanka.

As for Moeen and Bairstow, one look at their records, their ages and one look at England's away performances shows we should be moving on from a long track record of mediocrity and decline.

I'm assuming we're going to allow Foakes to score a couple of hundreds, keep really well and then immediately drop him?

Inspector Norse

New Zealand's remarkable ability to unearth brilliant fast bowlers meets Windies' remarkable ability to unearth shit batsmen

Shoulders?-Stomach!

I don't want Australia to win, but all the same: Kohli run out on 74 😎👌

Almost immediately followed by a Watson-tier review. India fully shat the bed in the space of an hour. I still want Australia to be cunted to the sun and back though.

Shoulders?-Stomach!

Australia 83-5.

What's going on? Adelaide is normally flat for the first 3 days?

Also economy rates, 1-2 runs an over...

Shoulders?-Stomach!

Must be close to the fewest runs scored in a test with 2 full days of play in Australia.

sevendaughters

absolutely LOVE IT when India collapse, I dislike them more than Australia

druss

Not a single batsman made double figures in India's second innings. Can't be many times that has happened.

sevendaughters

the Saffer Beardo, Andrew Samson, says that Agarwal's 9 was only the second time a single figure score has top scored in a test innings, last time was for the Saffers in 1924.
