...is a fucking fantastic, heavy, headfuck of a record.



I've blitzed through it about seven times in the last couple of days. The scope, aggression, hooks (vocally, instrumentally, electronically), unpredictability, and general execution is amazing. The fusion of so many different influences to such a high level is what really makes it something special in my opinion. I can't think of another band in heavy music that could make this album. I barely feel like I can even get a grip on it.

Not for everyone. But this record excites more than any other heavy album has for years.
