Sin Agog

For some reason I've always associated the endtimes with '80s electro.

Brilliant thread.

At the bleak and beautiful end i'll suggest Yasmin Levy's Madre si esto hazina:

QuoteMother, if i grow sick
i don't want a doctor

Mother, if i die
i don't want a cantor

Spinning Work from home by Fifth Harmony is what every cunt's doing at the moment, so instead i'm gonna go a bit less obvious and make a dedication to imitationleather - Lonely together by Avicii with Rita Ora:

QuoteI might hate myself tomorrow
but i'm on my way tonight
at the bottom of the bottle
you're the poison in the wine
and i know i can't change you
and i won't change
i might hate myself tomorrow
but i'm on my way tonight

let's be lonely together

As a heads up, if anyone wants any new music to soundtrack self-isolation, Bandcamp is waiving all of its own fees on Friday (Pacific time, I believe) and passing them on to the artist, to help with those who are struggling with money due to cancelled tours etc. Might be worth a purchase or two if you're going to be buying any digital music.

Really enjoying some chilled vaporwave at the moment. A contemplative melancholy for the isolated.

猫 シ Corp. - Conference Room

BlodwynPig

thanks, I just got the Saccharine Synergy album yesterday

Blimey, talk about woozy melancholia - this is the pinnacle of fever beauty

EVVOL - Sola

Think I'd like to go out with some Deathprod on constant loop.

Highway 61 Revisited has so far proven my go-to apocalypse album. Desolation Row is perfection. OK Boomer!

Yes, I received your letter yesterday, about the time the doorknob broke
When you asked me how I was doing, was that some kind of joke
All these people that you mention, yes, I know them, they're quite lame
I had to rearrange their faces and give them all another name
Right now, I can't read too good, don't send me no more letters no
Not unless you mail them from Desolation Row

With an obsession for illness and isolation it feels like the Manics have been preparing for years :

Journal for Plague Lovers
Quarantine (In my Place of)
Solitude Sometimes Is
Another Invented Disease
Year of Purification
Hibernation
A Soundtrack to Complete Withdrawal
Further Away
I'm Leaving You for Solitude
Bored Out of My Mind
The Convalescent

I'd be very surprised if Nicky Wire wasn't already in a bunker
