In these uncertain times I find myself missing things from the past I never cared about before, such as those mid 90s catchy pop tunes with all the colours in the videos they had.

I've had the opposite reaction, really.  Pop culture ephemera seems more hollow than ever right now.  It's almost like its purpose is to distract us from the big picture or somat.
