Dunno if this has been mentioned but the National Theatre is putting up shows on youtube for a week at a time. They've started with One Man Two Guvnors which, while starring James Corden, is very funny (though I thought it was better when I saw it with Rufus Hound).

This should be up for the next week.

Following that, Jane Eyre, Treasure Island and Twelfth Night will follow with more for May as I understand it.

This Sub-reddit has links to a fantastic number of musicals that you can stream - https://www.reddit.com/r/ProshotMusicals/ - with this site also worth a look if musicals are your thing - https://musicals.ml/ - An Ad-Blocker is needed for the latter though.

The Danish ex-Mrs SMBH always used to suggest that musicals are mainly enjoyed by homosexuals, but apparently the no.1 musical going individual is a straight man in their forties who once kissed a man but thought eh, that was alright but I don't see what the fuss is all about.

Honestly, I've had a couple of goes at watching it (once when it became "available" and again when it became available), and not got very far in, having found it (the whole thing, not Corden specifically) utterly unbearable both times. I guess it's just not for me. Plenty of other good stuff to watch, though.

Music docs, why not host your own Q&A panel discussion after with your cats or a few stuffed toys?

The latest West End musical to be made available to watch for free is Everybody's Talking About Jamie - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Yd6iF0mCCQ&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR1cB-vZAkkW9Yo-bipxPwpg2u9_iHm7IHe9FV29Z7hyFbxE7cx96y2rtb0 - As we established above I'm some weird kind of heterosexual homosexual so cannot be trusted on such things, but I thought it was an absolute delight packed with some stunning songs (that just get better as the musical goes on) and which comes complete with a really life affirming and heart warming message.

Likewise.

The classroom scenes at the start where the kids are revelling in their own academia has to be one of the smuggest most tone deaf pieces of shit committed to screen.

Don't suppose anyone knows what the simplest ways to import all those into Ableton is, do they? Like to have em set up ready to pull into a project whenever you fancied it.

PaulTMA

This may sound a touch ungrateful, but there's a photo of a Minipops Jr drum machine.  Where the fuck is it?

Just Cause 4 is free on the Epic games store from the 16th to the 23rd.

idunnosomename

there are smaller zips inside!!!!!!

Captain Z

The samples in the TR909 folder sound better than many single shot samples I've downloaded before, but in all the other folders I've explored so far the loops are absolutely piss-weak. Extremely grateful for the link but cannot imagine spending 750 quid on these. Will explore more during the week.
