QuoteAt a loss to know what to do with your self-isolation time?

Well, why not get on the computer and help with a giant weather digitisation effort?

The UK has rainfall records dating back 200 years or so, but the vast majority of these are in handwritten form and can't easily be used to analyse past periods of flooding and drought.

The Rainfall Rescue Project is seeking volunteers to transfer all the data into online spreadsheets.

You're not required to rummage through old bound volumes; the Met Office has already scanned the necessary documents - all 65,000 sheets.

You simply have to visit a website, read the scribbled rainfall amounts and enter the numbers into a series of boxes...

It's not wonderfully exciting but according to the BBC  will assist with planning for future flood and water-resource infrastructure.

Can anyone else come up with better ways to help people from home?

I donated to the Aonang Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand because those heffalumps still need to eat even if there are no visitors.

Rest assured this is an ethical sanctuary and not one of those ones that make them paint stuff and let 30-stone Americans ride on their backs.

I look forward to the knighthood when this has all blown over.

I have been spending most of my free time reporting the price gouging on ebay for santizer products, as well as emailing the CMA for cases around.

Ebay has made it quite easy for you to report price gouging.

Here are some choice listings so please report them.

For reference these are £3.00 a pop!

The starting price for the top one was 99p, and there are 28 bids for it, one of which made it jump from £33 to £500! Has the seller actually done anything wrong if people are bidding stupid amounts for it?
