Movies that take place over a short time span

Who wants to watch some shitty family drama, or some insufferable mob story that spans decades? Oh yeah, fucking nobody.

Let's talk about some films that take place over a relatively short period of time - let's say no more than three days - start to finish. FLASHBACKS FORBIDDEN

Some obvious ones:
High Noon (1952) - takes place almost in real time
Die Hard (1988) - a few hours
12 Angry Men (1957) - one afternoon, again virtually real time

I didn't see it, but I'm told Nick of Time happens in real time?

Butchers Blind

Inspector Norse

joaquin closet

Cleo de 5 a 7

If I remember correctly takes place over the span of 2 hours... 6 to 8 I believe

Good Time (2017) is a one-nighter. The various Purges are all one-nighters as well, I presume. Concrete epic Locke (2013) takes place over a single car journey.

Groundhog Day lol

4 to 6 if you're in Britain, surely

Blumf

Dr Strangelove is less than 24 hours. Less than the flight time of a B52, certainly.

Each movie in the Before Trilogy takes place over one day, but as a whole they span almost 20 years so I don't know if that counts.

Dr Rock

Miracle Mile (real time dramatisation of receiving news of a nuclear outbreak)

That shortish movie where a man can't get out of a phonebox (It was called 'The Man That Couldn't Get Out Of A Phonebox' I think.)

El Unicornio, mang

Jacob's Ladder
Spoiler alert
seems to take place over several years but is actually just a few hours or less

Dark Star
The Thing

... most Carpenter films now I think of it.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (one night, virtually real time)
Phone Booth, Buried, Cube (all real-time)

BlodwynPig

Mulholland Drive?

The time it takes for you to shoot yourself and for you to die

Assault on Precinct 13 starts around mid-afternoon and ends in the early hours of the morning.

Shoulders?-Stomach!

The Warriors is all across one night too as well isn't it?

This is easy (if that's true)

This is piss easy this (if that's true)

El Unicornio, mang

Gulftastic

The Breakfast Club spans one working day's length, albeit on a Saturday.

C_Larence

Cloverfield's all one night too. I reckon most found footage films would fit in here

Spoilers, obviously!

But no - the film
Spoiler alert
is a dream she has in a booze-and-drug-addled guilty depression. Then she wakes up, reeling, into the real world and tops herself
