Somewhat amusingly, Hurst's Wikipedia page puts him in the category 'critics of the United Nations', which puts him in the company of a handful of other crazies.

Never thought I'd put Ryanair in this category but it will continue to require masks on flights.

Pinball

Hopefully the unions and companies will ensure masks are still required in shops, planes etc, regardless of the dumb ass policies of our machiavellian hedge fund manager government. Plague is a health and safety issue.

Companies don't care and the unions don't really have enough power, although airlines seem to be still requiring masks which is good.

QuoteYoung cathedral choristers in Truro, Cornwall, have raised funds for 10,000 Covid-19 vaccines in poorer countries with a singing project.

The singers were able to raise £8,434 for Unicef with the Sing2G7 project, which saw children and young people around the world send a musical message to G7 leaders ahead of the summit in June.

The project inspired more than 27,000 children in 31 countries to take part, with the Sing2G7 organisers and choristers deciding to give all of the royalties from their single to VaccinAid...

I don't know whether this belongs in the best or worse responses thread, but I thought I'd aim for positivity!

But "optometrist" seems to me to be a more difficult word to use - unless "eye doctor" is what our American cousins call them.

About time they had a taste of their own medicine. Yeah! YEAH!

I have genuinely never seen anyone wear a jumper like the person on the left before.

Head through the hole, but not the arms? Good god, it's the last days of Rome.

EDIT: Just noticed the socks and Crocs combo too. Lordy.

I saw some bloke wearing one a couple of weeks in similar fashion. Thought it was a massive scarf he had on.

Surely we must be getting to, if not already past, the point where the anti-vax brigade over there are going to be insisting clowns like this have been "taken out" by the deep state for speaking, ahem, the truth.

Matthew Le Tissier has already implied something similar about the death of Tanzania's President John Magufuli (COVID denying politician who died of COVID).

Morrissons have said that members of staff who declined to have a vaccination (or two) and then have to self-isolate will get a lower rate of sick pay[nb]Not sure if this is legal, but...[/nb]. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/sep/09/morrisons-profit-drops-as-firm-warns-over-supply-chain-crisis

So anti-vaxxers have demanded a boycott of Morrissons.

So Morrisons have encouraged the boycott as it makes them the safest supermarket to shop in.

mothman

Shame about all the twunts wandering around their stores maskless - even when mask mandates were still in place yet went unchallenged.

Be surprised if that's legal. And the private equity vultures about to buy them will be pleased with precedent for cutting sick pay if it's your own fault.

I do like the idea of an anti-vax prick free zone though.

Pranet

Doesn't actually say what they are going to do.

I wonder- where I work you have to be off sick for three days before you get any sick pay. When covid happened, for a while, at least, if you were off because you had to isolate then you wouldn't have to wait the 3 days.

I wonder if it is a similar set up at Morrisons and they are re-instating the three days for the non vaccinated.

But that is just speculation.

Not sure what I think about this either.
