Shoulders?-Stomach!

Good that other shops will be opening up. Keeping clothes stores and the like closed seems unnecessary now let alone mid-June. They should rearrange the stock and keep similar distancing measures in place.

christ this might mean i'll be back at work in 3 weeks. the dream is over. Back to Hell for you, Mister Kittens!

Have to disagree. This will only lead to a complete meltdown. "distancing measures" are a fallacy, and while you probably might not be affected due to your good breeding, any unnecessary relaxation at the moment will lead to deaths. No-one should be itching to get a new blouse in real-time.

Hang on, are you suggesting Shoulders has good breeding?  Have you seen him?  Bald as a porn star's cunt, he is.

I agree relaxation of measures will lead to deaths. I'm just struggling to find a precedent for any moment in any nation in human civilization that has pursued a public health policy of 'zero deaths at all costs'. (As far as I can see, England has already failed. The approach has not been successful and the vast majority of those who have died were avoidable deaths. The correct thing to do would have been to quickly enforce a stringent lockdown and close borders. Those with the virus would be at home, and over a few weeks the virus would not be spread to others and would die off.)

As for distancing measures being a fallacy I have seen it done effectively at several premises. That there may have been moments where it was not enforced at all times is unfortunate but also unfortunately inevitable. Demanding perfection is a misunderstanding of its application, which is to limit human contact, not to eradicate it. The 2 metre distancing is on the higher end of Europe's social distancing. Most other countries are between 1 and 1.5 metres. 2 metres to me seems correct as it factors in a margin of idiocy/accident.

It might be better taking a less absolutist reading.

Roll on June 15th, gonna buy a cunt from a fuck. Ricochet around the shop coughing and rubbing my face on the tills. Lick the receipt and shit up the walls on a pogo stick.

Indeed, but are you ready for Fail Hard 2: Fail Harder

I believe that the best 4D chess move right now is the announce that people can see their social bubbles again.  Maybe from this coming weekend. Cummings could even be put forward as the man to suggest it. Frame him as the family man who reunited families.

The ONS publication on excess deaths has been reported on the BBC. The story concludes that there has been no additional risk of dying for people aged under 45 since the outbreak.

45-74 was significant, 75% plus was severe.

So this has basically been God's reckoning for Brexit and the election result.

Noting that there'll have been a heady deprivation-skew underneath that, with more poorer people found towards the 45-60 end of things.

Noticeable that shoulders has only recently nudged into his 30s, if I'm not mistaken. The folly of bald youth.

Gotta love LauraK and her 'govt source'.

Why does she need a government source to tell her what Hancock said when she was there in the fucking room when he said it?

NoSleep

Sounds much less convincing following, "Matt Hancock says...".

BBC News website now leading with the Florida space launch, making it the first non-Covid headline since sometime in February I think.

EDIT: Nvm that ended quickly.

BlodwynPig

OOPS. Greenland has two new cases in consecutive days after 51 days without a new case... Cummings reportedly was testing his hearing by flying over there to look at some seal skin rugs for Downing Street.
