That multicoloured pant suit she was wearing while watching the dancers was one of the best ever, I thought.

Forget season 4. Just move on.

That's how I feel.  Even at 3 series the concept was being stretched waffeur thin, no more please!

Although a one-off "special" released on pornhub would be acceptable.

The boy eel and the boy AndYourBush might appreciate this video, showing, as it does, Her Who Plays Villanelle wearing a variety of interesting outfits, showing off her footy skills, and speaking in her natural scouseland accent. One or two faces are made, but not quite to the Phil Coolesque levels reached on the " Eve (Killing)" programme.

Should have put this on the " PHWOARR!" thread, really. Ah, well.

JesusAndYourBush

That's really weird hearing her speak in her normal accent!

Lisa Jesusandmarychain

This may well be end days for this thread now, what with the series coming to an end, and all. Unless people wanted to keep it going by offering Marxist interpretations of this series ( or the others)or whatever, or just expound on general tropes about Killing Eve , like how characters arrange to have meetings with other characters at grand locales like inside The Stables , Milton Keynes, and the meeting lasts about two minutes, then the character who called the meeting just walks off, and the other character doesn't shout after them " Is that it, then? I came all this fucking way!", as they would be quite within their rights to do. Or more praise could be written about the fine performance put in by the Big Irish Feller, and maybe a look back at other impressive performances the actor playing him has given, like his reading of the role of that student in " Fresh Meat"  who had a scrap with Howard over that book from the Uni library.Or there could be a load of posts about how massively fit Her Who Plays Villanelle is. You could write an entire page dedicated to Her eyebrows alone.

Otherwise, this thread will come to an end. Sad, isn't it? 😣😢😦😟🙁☹🙀😿☻(< Looking sad, not smiling.)

Next series should stop being fiction and instead be a reality show,

A bit like SAS boot camp, where they teach you to do some kills (and the contestants then go and try out their new skills on a pleb somewhere - Stevenage probably - so that  there'll be no real harm done).

But also a fashion show where Villanelle goes all Gok Wan[nb]But with Judith Crumble presenting it's more like Gok WANK, am I right lads?[/nb] and tells the contestant how to dressing all stylish like.

I mean that's all the show is now, killings and chic clothes, the rest is filler innit?

Are you saying you *weren't*  interested in such fascinating  auxilliary characters as The Unkillable Stephen Toast, Big Irish Feller and Her Off " Upstart Crow" ?

Maybe they could reboot it as a 2020s version of " The Goodies"; Villanelle In A Union Jack Russian Flag jumpsuit, Naughty Be-bearded Konstantin and his loud laugh and a bespectacled, aloof Eve riding around on a trandem, getting up to all kinds of adventures as they try to sort out that pesky Twelve, but also agreeing to assasinate dodgy types for a fee ( " We kill anyone anywhere anytime"). Special guest appearances by Konstantin's zany murderous daughter and Kenny's ghost. I can just see the opening titles now ( as I could last year, when I proposed a similar Goodies remake, with Her Who Plays Villanelle, Stewart Lee and Chris Morriss).

There could be established tropes, like every week Konstantin has a  comedy heart attack, Eve gets really upset and  angsy about something , and Villanelle , of course, gets 'em out does one of her convincing accents , along with pulling " Ooh, lummee" faces, whether the occasion warrants it or not.

I'm up to e4 of the new ones but it is a bit dull. I do like this Dasha, should've had her in all along.

Lisa Jesusandmarychain

Yes, Amelia Bu Dasha is quite a likeable hard smoking, hard drinkin' psychopath character, with a Russian  accent more authentic sounding than Villanelle's ( Villanelle 's accent actually slips into Ukrainian occasionally), although it went a bit Maureen Lipman  as Beattie at times. The writers even liked the character so much that
Spoiler alert
they had her airlifted from Aberdeen to a hospital in Central London after Villanelle had bashed her bonce in with a golf club, then Eve came along and had a right old stamp on her, with an arched eyebrows mean ol'look on her usually distressed features. Not as nice as having the pitchforked Stephen Toast transported from Poland to a hospital also in London, but still jolly decent of them.

In all honesty I'd watch that.

Yeah, just picture the opening titles. They would recreate the 1975 vintage opening titles, so our three heroes would be pictured in a style simulating the headshots from " Bunfight At The OK Corral",  where they're all walking up to each other with their cowboy hats on, except Her Who Plays Villanelle would recreate Bill Oddie's shot rather than Tim Brooke- Taylor's, so she'd give a smile and cheeky wink to the camera as she was striding along, whereas bespectacled Eve would look more earnest, with that look on her face she always fucking has, and Konstantin would be smiling quite benignly at first, but then a panicked look would cross his face, he'd clutch his chest, and then fall out of shot.

I might have thought about this a bit too much, actually.

mr. logic

Lisa, do you live in Russia? I'm moving there in a bit. Pint?

Lisa Jesusandmarychain

I meant " Bunfight At The OK Tearooms", soz.

Mr. Logic PM 'd.

Lisa Jesusandmarychain

Erratum: it was actually the 1976 era opening titles of " The Goodies" I meant to refer to in mine previous post, and it actually *is* Tim Brooke- Taylor who tips the grin and the wink , in those titles, whilst Bill Oddie is wearing  a Davey Crockett sort of affair chapeau wise, and actually looking quite gruff. Apologies for any inconvenience my misremembering may have caused.

JesusAndYourBush

Villanelle would totally rock those clown trousers Bill Oddie wears in that one scene.

Dex Sawash

I'm done. Every scene this series seemed to go on just a bit too long. The face pulling during the buildup to Richard Starkey getting shot in the face in last ep was maybe best face pulling of series.

Gathered that's who you meant, and a grand old addition to the lookalikes that permeate this series. Just like Charlie Brooker in his reviewing the telly for " The Guardian" days, so we are.

Dex Sawash

Is The Bridge any good? Thought I had seen it but in another Ringo-style confusion it is River I have seen. I liked it despite them
