Another vote for the Midland pork scratchings, though Mr Porky's Finest are also very good. I liked the Snaffling Pig Colman's mustard cracklings but haven't seen them in a while.

I had a pack of the Snaffling Pig pork scratchings yesterday and thought they were, franky, awful. Zero flavour, it was like eating doorknobs.

Yes, I don't like the Snaffling Pig ones. The packet says "perfectly salted" = incredibly over-salted.

Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia. Chocolate ice cream with cherries and chocolate pieces. Only 550 calories for the tub and it only cost £1.50. Don't even care how cold it is.

Incredibly under-salted in my pack. Zero flavour.

Now being sold in packs of five, in a box that looks like it should hold six.

Ah what do I care, I hate Creme Eggs, they taste of paint.

Imagine buying this when you live with two other people. What a bastardly number to put in a pack!

Yeah, foodstuffs should not be packaged in prime multiples. Except perhaps Yakults, it's nice to have exactly a week's worth of those.

Not just me then. I thought I just kept getting unlucky til I realised the bastards were laughing at me, openly. Had a similar thing with the pink Pinballs but I reckon that actually was just the universe despising me.

They're doing a spicy version of the best pringles (sour cream and onion). They taste exactly the same as sour cream and onion pringles but with a very slight chilli spiciness. Might as well have just eaten sour cream and onion pringles with some chilli flakes sprinkled on them. Alternatively I might as well have just eaten SOMETHIBG ELSE

If the filling is still being produced in the old, run down chemical works outside Dumfries, then that's no surprise at all. They do produce one of the ingredients of paint in the off season.

I tried Asda's own sour cream and onion Pringles knockoff. I think they might be nicer than the real thing.

Is that a euphemism?

Course it is. You never "deep-fried" a creme egg?...

Got superbowl food on the go.

Buffalo "chicken" dip with jackfruit[1]
Guacamole
Potato skins
Black bean chili
Spinach/artichoke dip

 1. not a euphemism

Who would have thought potato skin would be the most appealing sounding item of a buffet.

They are incredible. I like Creme Eggs. I love Galaxy Caramel eggs. But I think the Oreo egg might top the lot.
