An amazing career all the way around, though I'm far too young to know his "Stiller and Meara" days.

I'd argue that his portrayal Frank Costanza is perhaps the greatest TV role of all time. His unorthodox delivery (apparently based, at least at the beginning, on not remembering his lines very well) elevated every single line exponentially.
