A good blog by former industrial musician Lawrence Burton, describing his experiences in the 80s industrial tape scene when he was basically a label, his own early music. The blog also features some grand undiscovered gems. There are many posts to get through, though all give an interesting aspect of 80s underground industrial culture.
A particular favourite of mine from this blog is the intense noise piece Tomorrow We Live by Irritant

It's basically noise music about British fascism, though the blog gives context as to who made it, so it's not like you're listening to Skrewdriver or anything (with noise music and power electronics, you do have to be a bit careful, as even left-wingers like to experiment with Nazi aesthetics)

Many thanks for this, sir. It is very excellent indeed.

Industrial noise plus Bukowski and Philip K Dick?

These are a few of my favorite things
