Having just finished this today, I feel compelled to make a thread for the discussion of this fantastic book.

It has been a while since a book has grabbed me and refused to let go like this one has. Set in the 19th century, the book reads like a mix of Jane Austen meets fantasy writing. The book is about the revival of English Magic, via the two main characters, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. Going any further into the plot would be a crime, as it really has to be read,

I can't think of anything else to say that hasn't already been said on the Reviews page at jonathanstrange.com, but if any of you are even vaguely considering reading this and have any questions i'll do my best to answer them.
