Something I did not realise until recently is that migrant workers from outside the EEA have to pay £400 a year on top of taxes towards the NHS, which will rise to £624 from October. Johnson has refused to scrap this for migrant workers from outside the EEA working in healthcare: https://amp.theguardian.com/society/2020/may/20/we-feel-insulted-migrant-health-workers-react-boris-johnson-refusal-to-scrap-nhs-surcharge

Imagine if we raised taxes on the super rich or did more about companies not paying their fair share of tax rather than charging people a three figure sum on top of their taxes to fund the NHS.

He also lied about how much it raised yesterday.

The people who "saved his life" have to pay to use the services they provide.

There do seem to be some rumblings within the tory party though.

Gotta keep the racist fucking Brexiter filth happy though.

Turns out the Tory Rumblings (top name for a band) have got loud enough to backtrack on this one.

Maybe Bozza is loosing his iron grip?

Seems bit cunty if I'm honest

If even the Tories are calling for an end to it... jesus.

Although I think they did graphs which showed that Leave voters are all for it, which is no surprise but still.
