Following on from the success of the Techmoan chat, I've decided to get round to starting a thread about YouTubers that make videos about strange events or disasters.

Plainly Difficult is one of these people. He generally does nuclear disasters and I find them quite informative.

Another good one who focuses on 'strange events' is Qxir, he can be quite wry at times with his casual Irish swearing.

I looked through some of the recommendations in related channels but they didn't quite hit the spot, I saw Zepherus who wasn't bad but I didn't enjoy it quite as much.

I imagine this is a fairly common subject on youtube, there's certainly plenty of people making videos about less explained stuff like the Dyatlov Pass Incident. Is anyone else into this sort of thing or know any good channels about it?

Watched a few last night. I like the content, but his nerdy voice is on the edge of irritating and he's a bit lacking in charm and wit. It's a bit unfair to compare him to big youtubers, but he does draw himself as CGP Gray with a neckbeard.

Hey, sorry - I was trying to up this by bumping this thread but ended up suggesting it was shit. It's, not, it's good. Just trying for something it can't quite do.
I do actually like him and watched some more tonight. The material is good. Just not top tier delivery.

Yeah, no you're right but then go and listen to Zepherus and it's even worse.
