Regarding this track by the KLF, does anyone know which peice of classical? music is used during the middle section?, its the bit with the violins and the bloke going "this is what the KLF are about, also known as the.....". Its been bugging me for years.

Been a while since I heard it, but isn't it just some synthed up strings with arpeggywotsits in the background?  Cannot remember anything more memorable.

It's Transcentral by the way.  That may help your googlage.

It be an interpretation of the theme from the western "The Big Country" that oddly enough was also used by MCTunes and Atomic Kitten although sadly not at the same time.
