Yep it's 60 years ago exactly since the Bates Motel opened for business!



Just think, without it we may never have had the delights of the Friday 13th, Nightmare on Elm St and Saw series and all their various knock-offs.

For me, far and away his finest work. Having said that, I do find his films quite flawed.

One of the strongest endings to a film as well.

I've always thought it his best too, that I've seen. Would take it over Rear Window, Vertigo and the like.
