From the classic TV show that everyone knows and loves, this Only Fools and Horses Rodney Soft Toy is bound to bring a smile to Dads face. This toy even says Rodney's famous catchphrases!

Cleaning Instructions

  • Wipe clean only

Features

  • Famous character from the popular show
  • Great gift idea
  • Says his famous catchphrases

"Famous catchphrases"? Plural?

Pijlstaart

Doesn't look like Rodney, he didn't have little black legs and he never wore hotpants. Maybe they've mixed him up with another character. He's looking wistfully at where his legs should be, were they burned off, was this in one of the christmas specials? Not big on melancholy in my toys.

The way it's written I thought these were the catchphrases:

Cleaning Instructions
Wipe clean only

I like how.only.one of the three items listed under feature is a feature.

Imagine getting just that for Fathers Day. Glad I dont have children

After a week it ends up behind the sofa for the next decade, before being rescued by a plush Del Boy.

"A rhino?"
"The head of the computer section is starving bloody 'ungry"
"I bought you a donner kebab"

Danger Man

"What the bloody hell am I going to say to her?"

"He asked me to get him an Emperor Burger, but I couldn't afford it so I got him a cheeseburger."

Recreate such famous moments as when Rodney hid from a mob because he thought he was a rapist or when Del Boy fell through the bar and Rodney wasn't there.

Nice three wheeled van soft toy: https://www.aldi.co.uk/only-fools-and-horses-van-soft-toy/p/014098380469106

They also sell the Del Boy and Uncle Albert toys. Cabbers with young children could use the dolls to act out a santised scene from the show.

I wonder what other sitcoms could have toys.

idunnosomename

they had big versions of these in last year - maybe like now they were for fathers day. anyway I did a del falling through the bar mime with them when shopping on Monday which got a laugh at least

Little Britain had some plush toys;

Fuck me, that Lou doll looks fucking evil.

idunnosomename

that should have gone back to prototype because it looks complete shit

vibes of this fucking disasterpiece

"My name's not Dave. It's Rodney. You're the only one who calls me Dave."

JesusAndYourBush

They were pushing the Delboy toys last year.  When I looked it up I found they first sold them about 2 or 3 years earlier along with one of Uncle Albert and Rodney.  They must have made too many and still a massive warehouse full of them if they're still trying to offload them.

SpiderChrist

If it doesn't say "I ain't got a GCE in pork" then I don't fucking want one.

Did Lyndhurst record the phrases I wonder?

Rodders from Only Fools and 3 Courses would be more appropriate given how tenuous the likeness is.

Wonder if the OFAH superfan who was quoted as saying "The writers are so witty. I love all the catchphrases" had something to do with this.
