Not sure how much mileage there is in the thread, but I've just become aware of how ridiculously awful youtube's attempts at automatically subtitling this sketch from Limmy's Show are, and they made me laugh a huge amount, it's a sketch I already love a great deal, but this just makes it funnier to me - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dEKQL0I4LU

Anyone got any other examples out of interest?

Not from Youtube, but on BBC News teletext subtitles many years ago.  There was a hurricane threatening Britain but it was spitting out gems like:

'Researchers say the Harry Kane has the potential to damage coastal towns'

It was a while ago so I don't know if they were computer generated or the stenographer was having a laugh, still it made me chuckle.

I had been considering a thread on this. The subtitles on Dragons Den on YouTube can be brilliant. Especially when it comes to Dragon's names. I'll try grab some screenshots.
