This'll wind up being all politics I guess but if you can think of non-political ones that'd be great too

Obama (2008)
The Irish Labour Party (2006-2011)
Centre-left comedians of the 90s and 00s

I read a piece of fiction many yesrs ago in which a hard bitten son of s bitch reckoned he stayed sober because there was so much nicotine in his blood as to displace the alcohol. I'm not sure it ever did me much good.

I voted Lib Dem in 2005/2010, my first two elections.

For sure, and every time I'm looking for a job I wind up wasting a bunch of time with at least one of these still

The idea I'd grow to like weed if I took loads of it

Aged 14 I thought there were unanswered questions about 911

Aged 19 to 20-something I thought libertarianism or anarcho capitalism had merit

First time I voted was for UKIP - not cos I hate foreigners but for the above-mentioned libertarianism :'(

I also voted leave in the EU referendum for anti-capitalist anti-neoliberal reasons - I might still argue the toss but it seems like a bit of a mistake in retrospect

Sebastian Cobb

I think it was a lot easier to tacitly approve of libertarianism before it really got going. I reckoned 'sounds alright that' after watching a bit of Penn and Teller's bullshit, seeing they were into that and seeing probably on wikipedia that the core concept was something like a rule of 'people should be free to do what they like as long as it doesn't affect anyone else'. Now obviously that too sounds like bollocks, or at least impractical, but the whole no-state or regulation thing didn't really register with me at the time and I just sort of forgot all about it.

It was around the time new labour sort-of were taking the piss with civil liberties.

Yeah I blame Penn and Teller - Bullshit as well! I think I even toyed with the idea of climate denialism. It kinda felt like there was some level of rational skepticism that would lead one to think that libertarianism / lasseiz faire capitalism was the least-worst option.

Penn and Teller now accept global warming is caused by man, and Penn is a vegan for the sake of animal welfare.

Guilty of both of these.

The only GBC cart I ever got for it was Lucky Luke and I much preferred the feel of my orig green-screen in my mitts.

waste of fucking time, pogs went mad when you could buy shredders that had saw blade bits and were made of metal, and then a newsagents round here called THE BUS STOP SHOP started gluing them together as supre shredders and obviously kids would launch them at each other

Only one I got was Mario Bros Deluxe, was so confused how I somehow got worse at Mario between the ages of 5 (when I last played it) and 10. Was almost certainly the cropping in retrospect

Keep Spy Vs Spy aswell, fuck everything else off except Pokemon Blue, Batman and a wild card pick - ZEN INTERGALACTIC NINJA

Sebastian Cobb

wasn't pokemon blue just normal gameboy?

I had Krusty's Fun House on my gameboy, I thought it was a really shit platformer that I couldn't get anywhere as a kid, but after playing it later in life I realised it's a really shit puzzle game I can't get anywhere in.

Goldentony

it was but to be honest ive just realised im thinking of the games ive got lying round out loud somehow
