I'm a fan of these Quentin closedowns. The first one up was on Sunday, and was just the spooky Q thing with the jingle. They seem to be getting more elaborate as the week progresses.

BlodwynPig

This is the best yet...fucking hell...and wait for the creepiest sting near the end...nightmare time

Shoulders?-Stomach!

Closedown is an insult to honest license fee payers EVERYWHERE

Sebastian Cobb

I almost miss waking up cold and uncomfortable to Ceefax through the night.

Enzo

These are great. He has the VO mannerisms down perfectly

new spinning Q tonight, might start an argument about how the old Q was just better, wasn't it?

that jingle is incredibly eerie and melancholy. like walking home from a funeral for all your immediate family

that jingle is incredibly eerie and melancholy. like attending the wake for your entire family and circle of friends in your remote childhood home with only the grandfather clock for company

Thursday's is actually scarier on rewatch, when you know what's coming. The anticipation.

< Had to be done.

Some old time reminiscing from Blodwyn's formative years - "Bacon Mysteries", and a nod to CaB itself

I love that use of poppet as a scathing put down, please use more

Enzo

The final synth note on the jingle is genius. So unsettling, reminds me Protect & Survive

God, these are great.  What IS that thing saying at the end, I can''t quite make it out?   Sounds like "me and you" and something else.

Aaah.  I knew it whispered " I seeeeeeee yooooooou" at the end of last Thursday's one, but I thought it sounded like something a bit different on this latest one.

Norton Canes

Hope everyone is watching these last thing at night in bed just before turning the light off. It's the only way to get the full effect.

I add to it by going "oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" at the end. Can't make the NTNON wine glass thing work though

the

The best aspect of these is that the voiceover is very good.

The worst aspect is that Look Around You was nearly 20 years ago

BlodwynPig

Crikey, was expecting a ceiling mounted fan to appear at the end there.
