I'd say people 100 years ago, after WW2 and the invention of the atomic bomb were sure the world would end within the century. Look what happened instead - the invention of skateboards, diet coke, and Playstation. It stands to reason that all of this will blow over soon and we can enjoy some new inventions like slightly smaller skateboards and Playstation 5. Just chill bro.
