Turning documents into books

Don't know if this is useful to anybody, but I've just found out that if you save your document file as .rtf then convert it into .mobi [https://convertio.co/rtf-mobi/], Kindle for PC will then open it for you and treat it like a proper book. You can add bookmarks and everything. The only thing you can't do is add it to your Kindle library, because there's a weird apartheid going on with Kindle for PC - it pretends your documents don't exist, even though you can read them fine on normal Kindle, Kindle Fire, Kindle for Android. Anyway this was very useful for me, might be useful for you.
